Meandre Zizinia was among the six Greeks born in Marseille between 1821-1830 who declared their intention to become French citizens the year following their reaching majority age. The others included Pandia Agelasto, Leonidas Argenti, Demetrius Petrocochino, Pierre Rodocanachi, Aristide Dromacaiti, Etienne Ralli, Eustratius Petrocochino, Laurent Dromocaiti and Etienne Schilizzi (Echinard).
