    • The 1851 England Census reports for 25 Finsbury Circus, London: Stephen Schilizzi, 20, unmarried, an agent/merchant, born Marseille, France, nephew [no uncle is listed, but Ambrose Ralli, 24; Nicoli Mavrogordato (possibly Nicolas [Matheos] Mavrogordato, 21; and John Mavrogordato, 36; were next door)].
    • The 1871 England Census reports that the Schilizzi household at Park Point, Salford (nr Manchester), Lancashire, was headed by Peter, 83, India merchant and included wife Marigo, 65, both born Chios; son Stephen, 40, Indian merchant, born France; granddaughters A. [Argyri], 13; Marigo, 10; and Henrietta, 2; grandson Manoli, 5, all born Manchester; and eight domestic servants. They lived next to the Coco Scaramanga family.
    • The 1881 England Census reports that the Schilizzi household at "Park Mount", 224 Bury New Road, Broughton, Manchester included: Peter Schilizzi, 25; Michael Schilizzi, 24, both noted as sons (no head of household), unmarried, East India merchants, born Liverpool; Harrietta, 13, scholar, born Manchester; and five servants.
    • He was a signatory witness to the Marseille 25 Apr 1870 marriage of Antonio Vouro & Marie Ralli.
    • Etienne Schilizzi was among the six Greeks born in Marseille between 1821-1830 who declared their intention to become French citizens the year following their reaching majority age.
