Tree:  

Philip Argenti's Negroponte tree included the Greek Orthodox Negropontes.  We have now included those who practiced the Roman Catholic faith, mostly in Turkey, especially Smyrna/Izmir.  The Negroponte lines split sometime after the Great Schims of 1054.
