courtesy website Familles Parentes et Alliees: "J'ai trouve dans les documents de cousine Jeanette Derrien, nee Jullian, (Mere d'Yvon) une photo d'un militaire, avec la mention ecrite de la main de cousine Jeanette, au dos de la photo, 'Jean Sagrandi, fils de Pandia, cousin germain de Maman' (par alliance puisque Pandia a epouse Franga Zygomala)...Ce Pandia n'est autre que Pandely Sagrandi epoux de Franga Zygomala, fille de John Copeland Zygomala. Ceci vient tout a fait confirmer la genealogie faite par Philipp Argenti dans le Libro d'Oro." This is incorrect. The photo is most likely of Jean (Hyippatios), who remained in Algeria, probably with the French Foreign Legion. Argenti says the father of Pandely, husband of Franga, is John Pandia, not John Eustratios.
