- From The Times [London], 3 Dec. 2013: HOTCHKIS, Alistair James, died peacefully at the R.U.H. Bath on 23rd November 2013, aged 98 . He was a much loved husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather and great-grandfather and the last surviving child of Dr. and Mrs R. D. Hotchkis of Paisley and St. Andrews. A Funeral Service and committal will be held in St. Saviour's Church, Larkhall, Bath on Friday 6th December 2013 at 2pm followed by private cremation. No flowers please but, if desired, donations may be sent in his memory to Help for Heroes.
