    Philanthropy: Constantine Agelasto donated 10 TL in favour of the 1881 earthquake victims on Chios according to unpublished research by Demetrios Melachrinoudis

    Birth year according to Argenti, who places him last in birth order.

    On his list of Chiot graves at the Sislí cemetery in Constantinople, Georgiadis mentions the graves of Constantinos A. Agelastos and Angeroů C. Agelastos.

    Family/Spouse: Angerou Scouloudi. Angerou was born in 1812 in Chios, Greece; died on 27 Jan 1896 in 31 Aga Hamam St., Pera, Constantinople/Istanbul Turkey; was buried in Sislí Greek Orthodox Cemetery, Constantinople/Istanbul Turkey. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

    Zolotas: Constantinos Agelasto, (1802 – 1882, died in Constantinople, citing Georgiadis, the same is mentioned ibid. in 1840). His wife was Angerou (1812 – 1896) and his son was Augustís (C.) Agelasto, citing Georgiadis 1852.

    Once known to LDS (familysearch.com) which on 11 Mar 2001 listed Avgoustis (sic) marriage and Despina birth.

    Based on the accounting records of St John Church, Georgiadis makes an alphabetical list of Chiot enterprises [of Constantinople] that sponsored the Church in the time from 1843 to 1880. There is no mention of year/date. Included among Agelastos enterprises is: Augustís C. Agelastos.

    Calcutta Street Directory reports: 8 Clive Row – A. Agelasto Co. and E. Vassilopulo.
