    His portrait hangs in the Koraïs Library, Chios. Author of 'Libro d'Oro de la Noblesse de Chio' (OUP 1955 2 vols); History of Chios (with L. M. Calvocoressi and D. P. Petrocochino, 1928); and numerous other publications relating to Chios.

    OBE (Mil.). Lt (Reserve) Greek Cavalry. Grand Officer of the Order of St Sepulchre. Officer of the Order of the White Eagle (Serbia). Greek War Medal. Greek War Medal. Serbian Medal for Bravery.

    Served in the Venizelist forces throughout the Macedonian attack in WWI and in the 3rd Greek Cavalry Regt. His portrait was painted by Laszlo in Apr 1930.

    The Argenti estate in the Kampos, Chios, where Philip once lived has been converted into a lodge, the Argentikon, which was toured on the 2009 Agelasto family reunion (photos).
