| 1. | Matteo (Matthew) Schilizzi aka Vafiadachi was born on 13 Feb 1858 in Livorno [Leghorn], Italy/Tuscany; died on 25 Mar 1905 in Naples, Campania, Italy. Notes:
Wanted to build a new mausoleum for his family at Naples but died before it was finished but which is now the monument of the 'Unknown Soldier' in Naples. According to Patrick Streeter the building was in 2005 a hotel.
He and his brothers formally changed their names to Vafiadachi/Vafiadacchi on 1 Jun 1875.
Birth:
This birth date is probably wrong as it is 14 months after the published death of his father.
