With Mathoor Sankara Narayana Panikkar he was in Rodocanachi and Panikkar, as General Medical Practitioners, at "Aingarth," Stalybridge, Chester, England and 55 Grosvenor Square, Staflybridge, until dissolved 2 June 1920 (London Gazette 22 June 1920). Afterwards he was sole practitioner.

    He and his brother Theodore John Rodocanachi were partners in the firm of John T Rodocanachi & Son, carrying on business at 738 Salisbury House, Finsbury Circus, London, and 19 Apsley buildings, Old Hall Street, Liverpool (London Gazette 25 Feb 1903, 23 Feb 1905).

    The 1891 England Census reports the household living at 64 Gloucester Terrace, Paddington: Fanny Rodocanachi, 46, wife, married, born Constantinople; children Alexandra, 26, nursing student, born Alexandria, Egypt; Theodore J., 18, commission merchant, born Trieste; Hypatia, 18, painting student; Ambrose J, 14 science student; Marie, 8; Jenny, 7, all born Paddington and four domestic servants.

    The 1901 England Census reports the household living at 58 Landsdowne Road, Didsbury, Greater Manchester, England: Ambrose J. Rodocanachi, head, 26, self-employed surgeon; his sister Hypatia, 28, sculptor working at home, both born Paddington, London, and a cook. The Rate Books, 1900, confirm this address.

    1911 England census for 55 Grosvenor Square, Stalybridge, Lancashire, household headed by Ambrose John Rodocanachi, 36, b. Paddington, London, single; surgeon; 2 servants.

    1921 Census Of England & Wales includes: Ambrose John Rodocanachi, b. 1874, London; Florence Lilian Rodocanachi, b. 1891, Oldham, Lancashire; for a household in Ashton under Lyne, Lancashire.

    The 1939 England and Wales Register for the address Aingarth, Stalybridge, Cheshire, lists John Rodocanachi [Ambrose Rodocanachi], b. 10 Apr 1874, Widow, Dr of Medicine & Surgeon; Alexandra Rodocanachi, b. 6 Oct 1865, Incapacitated; Marie Rodocanachi, b. 31 Jul 1882, Household Duties Unpaid, both Single.

    He co-administered/administered the estates of his mother and brother Theodore.

    He was the administrator of the estates of his siblings Jenny and Theodore.

    Ambrose Rodoconachi was one of the executors, along with Alexander Pandia Ralli [the deceased's son-in-law] and Anthony Alexander Vlasto, of the estate of Marietta Ralli, widow, who died 2 Mar 1922, St. Catherine's Lodge, Hove, Sussex, and whose will was proved 18 May 1922 [presumably Marietta Antoniou Theodorou (Antonios) Ralli] (London Gazette 27 Jun 1922)
