- Based on the accounting records of St John Church, Georgiadis makes an alphabetical list of Chiot enterprises [of Constantinople] that sponsored the Church in the time from 1843 to 1880. There is no mention of year/date. Included among Agelastos enterprises is: Pavlos L. Agelastos.
- In a memorandum from a general meeting of the St John community, dated 1 Apr 1865, Georgiadis says that "P. L. Agelastos" is among the community members present.
- Residence: bef 1822 Chios; 1837-1846 Syros; 1854-1865 Constantinople; 1869 Syros.
- 28 Dec 1846: Paul L. Agelasto, 32, married, born Chios, arrived Syros 1837, merchant, swore allegiance to the Greek government at the town hall, Ermoupolis, as had his brother Ambrosios the previous year.
- Paul Leonidas Agelasto, 54, was on the voter list for Syros, 1869.
- Paul Agelasto, Constantinople, is listed among the diaspora Greeks donating 400 [Ottoman pounds] to a fund for the Thebes earthquake in 1853. Castelis & Agelasto donated 1000. [6]
