- Syros citizenship records include: Hypatios John Fachiri, 22, b. Ermoupolis, unmarried, occupation???, who swore allegiance to the Greek state on 4 Jan 1901, presumably at the town hall, Ermoupolis, Syros. This puts his birth year around 1879 (before Jean Fachiri & Despina Agelasto married, according to Argenti). Given the unusual name, the manner Greeks construct descendant's names, and a certain imprecision among Argenti's dates, it is very likely this man is their son. [3]
- John Fachiri and Despina Agelasto were married 20 Jan 1883, Calcutta, Allens Indian Mail14 February 1883. " Fachiri-Agelasto, Jan. 20, at Calcutta, John Fachiri, Esq., of Bombay, to Despina, third daughter of S. Agelasto, Esq., of Corfu."
