Paul Gripari, staff member of the United Nations Development Programme (1965-1981). 29 Jan 1965, Assistant Resident Representative, Mogadishu, Somalia, on a two-year fixed-term appointment; then a succession of fixed-term appointments at various UNDP Field Offices until his retirement on 31 Jul 1981. An administrative tribunal ruled against him on an after-service insurance claim.

Not to be confused with the French writer Pierre Gripari (7 Jan 1925, Paris - 23 Dec 1990), whose father was an engineer from Mykonos. Both his parents killed during WW II.
