After the end of WWII Alexander Agelasto and John Papaioannou, brothers-in-law, were in the glass business, Papaioannou-Agelasto Glass, providing the glass for the Athens airport. An enterprise by this name exists in Athens today.

She was trained as a nurse. After her husband died, she found it difficult to continue to live in Athens, where everyone knew her. She emmigrated to the USA, first to Arizona (where she didn't like the weather) and then to California. Her second husband, an American citizen, served as sponsor for her son's US citizenship.

Aglaia Plagwicz, b. 17 Dec 1916, California resident, was naturalized USA 1 May 1968.
