    He married (aged 30) Edith Henderson when she appears to have been five months pregnant. It also appears that this may have been a very 'unsuitable' marriage since an outsider (Costa) is found as a marriage witness.

    He and his brother Stamatios were merchants in London operating as 'Eumorfopoulos Brothers' until 31 Dec 1910 when Stamatios resigned. The firm continued with Eustratius alone at 87/88 Leadenhall Street, London (London Gazette 3 Jan 1911).

    According to a descendant, Edith Baker, her marriage was 26 April 1899 (engraved on a wedding ring) though Metaxa's Greek church records state 15 Feb 1900.

    According to parish records, they were married on the same date at the Parish Church of St. George, Tufnell Park, Islington. Marriage witnesses: Stamati Eumorfopoulos and Alice Henderson.

    At some point he lived at 'Old Mousers' and she on the Isle of Wight, with the children shuffling between.
