Twenty beds in La Vieille-chapelle, villa 'Le Ruisselet,' were endowed by the Fondation de la Colonie Grecque de Marseille, of which Stratty Scaramenga (sic) was listed as an honored member, Livre d'or / de l'Assistance aux convalescents militaires, rattachée au Ministère de la guerre, XVe région, 1916, Marseille, p. 210.

Stratty-Jean Scaramanga, Greek, agricultural property owner, was awarded the French Legion of Honor for 34 years of service, level of chevalier. Journal officiel de la République française. Lois et décrets, Paris, 13 Feb 1938, p. 1796.

The date, 01 Jul 1867, given by Argenti, is likely wrong. The Oath of Allegiance of Eustratios I. Scaramanga suggests birth abt 1874, Marseille. No record was found in the Marseille register index. His grandson confirms that Pierre was the eldest of the five children.

The Mimbelli family bought what is now the Scaramanga estate, Chateau Vilpail, St Martin de Crau, built in the 1880s in an Italian style. The family ran a shipping company.

She is listed in the 1916 membership list of the Entraide féminine, Marseille.

In an article on "La Colonie hellénique de Marseille," she is incorrectly listed as née Mirabelli, Le Gaulois, 30 Dec 1917, p. 2.

It appears that each of Xenophon Constantinidi's three children became attached to the Agelasto or Negroponte-Agelasto bloodlines through marriage. The bloodlines included Euterpe's son-in-law, the mother-in-law of her sister Evrydiki (abt 1878 - ), and the wife of her brother Spiro (1880-1960).
