    See obituary in The Times, 23 Jun 1947. He provided a welcoming home to Dominie and Alexis Vlasto shortly after the WWI armistice - see the amusing account in Dominie, Lady Nicholls' 'Quite A Lot' (2001).

    He lived at Roughwood Park from around 1919 to the 1940s. From the Rating Valuation lists in the Bucks Record Office it appears that in February 1916 Roughwood Park House was "in a bad state of repair and empty" but by April 1919 the house with 60 acres had been bought by T. A. Agelasto. (Chalfont St Giles History Society). The house and its 60-acre estate appear to have served as an SOE training school in WWll (Station No 42), one of its commanders being Maj. V. E. Blomfield.

    His two sons were his estates' co-executors. Solicitors: Broad & Son, 1, Great Winchester Street, EC2, London.

    In 1958 he put on the market a "Georgian Period House, North Bedfordshire" (The Times [London], 24 Oct 1958).

    "Mr. Tryphon Agelastos, of London" was one of the sponsors behind "The History of Chios" by Zolotas.

    Attended the funeral of Emmanuel M Rodocanachi, according to The Times (London), 18 Feb 1932.

    He is probably the Mr. T. Agelasto who attended the funeral of Eustratius 'Strati' (Pandia) Ralli, according to The Times (London), 10 Mar 1932.
