- His 10-page will, in Russian, which is kept in the State Archive of Odessa, left the bulk of his estate to his surviving son. Kardasis comments: "His displeasure with the first daughter of the family is obvious. Was this an old quarrel? Fear of squandering the inheritance on unsound economic ventures by the family of P. Agelasto and Iphigenia Rodocanachi? According to the letter of the will, Pericles gained most. All the property (plots of land, houses, bills of exchange, bonds, and cash) were bequeathed to him. In this way Theodoros affirmed the traditional concept of transferring the property to the son in order to secure the continuity of the family..." [3]
