    His Will was proved 26 Apr 1890. It "notes that his father and mother are buried at the Church of St George in Scio. Power to grant Probate to Theodore (1824-1890), brother of the deceased...was reserved. This is consistent with [his] being in Egypt and near the end of his own life. The Will is remarkable in my eyes in that it recommends the children to marry Greeks of the Orthodox faith, exhorts and directs them to help and assist our mother country our dearest Greece, and not to forget that relatives perished unjustly at the hands of the Turks and that I myself was sold as a slave. It is said that the Sultan relented after the Massacre which had been ordered by his Admiral." (Andrew Serjeant)

    Petrocochino-Agelasto, Marseille, is listed among the diaspora Greeks donating 250 fr. to a fund for the Thebes earthquake in 1853.

    Worked with A. Mavrogordato and J. T. Ralli for the Bank of Turkey in Constantinople (est. 1858). Founding president of the Bank of Constantinople established 10 Apr 1872. In 1894 it was incorporated into La Société Ottomane de Change et de Valeurs.

    He was also a partner in the Austro-Turkish Bank along with Stephanos A. Ralli and George (Ioannis) Zarifi. A general director of the Société Générale de l?Empire Ottoman founded in 1864.

    Chosen, with Herocles Vassiadis, to convey the congratulations of the Greek Community of Constantinople to Queen Amalia of Greece on her safe deliverance from an assassination attempt in 1860.

    In 1861 Antonios Vlasto and Herocles Vassiadis were among the founders of the Greek Philological Syllogos of Constantinople, the most important Greek educational society in the Ottoman Empire until its dissolution by the Turkish Nationalists in 1923.

Ralli, General Merchants, Alexandria, Egypt until he and Hector retired 8 May 1871 (London Gazette 27 Oct 1871). Stephen Psicha left the firm 31 Oct 1872 (London Gazette 25 Dec 1877).
