  1. 4.  Anastasios Eugenidi was born about 1797 in Sparta, Laconia, Peloponnese, Greece; died in 1860 in Constantinople/Istanbul Turkey.

    Notes:

Argenti includes a Eustache Eugenidi on the Agelasto tree which is probably in error.

Argenti includes his son and grandson on the Sechiari tree.

His family tree, as prepared by Parker Agelasto.

Their grandson was Alexander Eugenidi (born ca. 1865), who was married to Maria Ralli (of the Athens Rallis) (George Vassiadis)

    Buried:
The Eugenidis mausoleum in section 4 at the First Cemetery in Athens is a small marble temple with a bust of Anastasios Eugenidis on a column right in front of it. His remains appear to have been moved to Athens from Constantinople, probably after 1914, when the mausoleum was built to house the remains of Eustathios/Eustache.(George Vassiadis)

Anastasios married Marietta (Pandely) Agelasto about 1841 in Constantinople/Istanbul Turkey. Marietta (daughter of Pandely (Dimitri) Agelasto and Sappho (Stamatios) Agapiadis) was born about 1820 in Constantinople/Istanbul Turkey. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

  2. 5.  Marietta (Pandely) Agelasto was born about 1820 in Constantinople/Istanbul Turkey (daughter of Pandely (Dimitri) Agelasto and Sappho (Stamatios) Agapiadis).

    Notes:

    Unknown to Argenti.

This information is provided by George Vassiadis who reports: Marietta and Anastasios are also attested to by Sturdza.

Argenti has Argentou Agelasto married to Eustache Eugenidi and says that Franga Agelasto is her sister. It is certain that Argenti placed Franga in the wrong family and he probably misplaced Argentou as well. Possibly (1) Argenti's Argentou was in fact Marietta and (2) was indeed Franga's sister.

LDS (familysearch.com) listed on 11 Mar 2001 a Marietta Agelasto birth abt 1820, Constantinople, marriage abt 1841, Constantinople.

The sisters Franga and Marietta Agelasto were declared as the sole heiresses of their uncle Stephanos D. Agelastos in a hereditary title certificate issued by the Mayor of Athens.

    George Agelastos comments:

The initial of Maria’s husband’s name is not clearly legible on the certificate. It reads like “Θ” (Th) but is most probably an “A”, which means she is undoubtedly Anastasios Eugenidis’ wife, mentioned as “Marietta” on these pages.
