The 1856 census reports the family, now at allees des Capucines, 18, comprised Andre, merchant; wife Julia Ralli; Theodora Galati, 75 [his mother, a martyr's widow]; Paulymini, 12 1/2 [Polymnia]; Julie, 10 1/2; a governess and four servants. Lived next to Augustus Stephanos & Sozonga Stephanos Ralli, allees des Capucines 14.

    Andre Argenti was among the twenty-one founding members of the Greek church, Marseille, in 1836, a group which also included Paraschewa Sechiari, Emmanuel Rodocanachi, George D. Zizinia, Michel Dromocaiti, Michel Petrocochino [probably Michel Dimitrios Petrocochino, rather than Michel Andre Petrocochino], George M. Zizinia, Michel Agelasto, Jean Baltazzi, George Petrocochino and George Grimanelli (Echinard).

    Married to Julia Ralli, he was head of the Ralli merchant house in Marseille, under the name of Ralli Schilizzi Argenti.
