The 1903 Istanbul city lists a George Agelasto 'employé à la régie cointéressée des tabacs d l'empire ottoman,' domicile: R. Yéni-kapou, 143, S [Istanbul]. The 1909 directory lists a Georges Agelasto, residing at 1 Rue Soandji, Péra and employed "à la régie des tabacs," a bureau of the Ottoman state. The 1908-1913 directories list him as employed "à la régie cointéressée des tabacs de l'empire ottoman," domicilded at Yeni Yol (impasse) 13, 15, Péra, Appartem. Almaleh Efraim #8.
