    Her will, dated 14 Jan 1911, was subjected to judicial review. As co-executrix Esmeralda Negroponte petitioned the court to clarify provisions of the will relating to flowers for the Petrocokino funeral vault, memorial services and a legacy to the Greek church, Higher Broughton. The court deemed these first two provisions to be in perpetuity, not charitable gifts and thus invalid. The legacy was permitted. ("What is a Charitable Bequest?", The Manchester Guardian 13 Dec 1912, p 6).
