With the repeal of the Corn Laws and the boom in trading that followed, the Baltic Exchange moved to the South Sea House (between 1857 - 1866) and then left the Threadneedle Street building in 1903 for the location now occupied by 30 St Mary Axe [The Gherkin]. P. P. Rodocanachi and Co., Merchants, were located at South Sea House, Threadneedle Street, London (1878-1905).
