    A notification by Theodore J. Rodocanachi, dated 26 July 1840, in which he announces the purchase (price: 17.750 Drachmas) of Jacob C. Negroponte´s house, located opposite Nicolas Prassacachi´s house and adjacent to Nicolas Calvocoressi´s house, and calls on anyone having legal objections to that purchase to apply within one month by letter to the newspaper (Hermes of Ermoupolis).

    • The 1860 Census for Ermoupolis, Syros reports a household consisting of Nicolas Calvocoressi, 55, male, married, parent, merchant; his wife Angherou, 40, and their sons Demetrius (22, clerk, single) and Anthony (14, pupil). [3]
