She marriedthe much younger man who rescued her, and they lived in the mountains in Crete. He was a communist, much to the family's horror, and her husband eventually left her for a younger girl in Skyros, according to her sister’s God-child, Carolyn Agelasto Hughes. Residence: -1922, Smyrna; 1923, Menton, France; 1923-, London, England; 1936-1945, Skyros, Greece; -1950 Athens; 1950-1959, Skyros. Travel: she and her husband fled Skyros upon the end of WWII; as an alleged communist sympathizer, his safety was in jeopardy. 1960, she returned to England to visit her mother and sister.
