  Notes	John (Michael) was Michael John's first son, his crown-prince, and was expected to succeed him in his business, so he accompanied his father on several trips. They had been in Odessa together and were on the way back to Athens by train, when John Michael suddenly fell ill with peritonitis and died before they even reached Athens. The loss of his 18-year-old son broke Michael John´s heart and he lived for only two more years, dying in 1927, according to Constantine Papaioannou, John Michael's grandson.
