Philanthropy: St[amati] N. Agelasto, merchant and banker, promises in 1879 an annual contribution of 10 TL (Turkish Lira) in favour of the Patriarchate according to unpublished research by Demetrios Melachrinoudis.

Died:
On his list of Chiot graves at the Sislí cemetery in Constantinople, Georgiadis mentions "Stamatios N. Agelastos, died 3 January 1892".

Zolotas says a Katerni [Agelasto] of the Schilizzi family was among two old women who lived in Chios until the end of the 19th Century.
