    The 1871 England Census reports the Scaramanga household at Park Point, Salford (nr Manchester), Lancashire included: Coco G., 46, head, East India merchant, born Austria, naturalized British citizen; wife Hypatia, 37, born Turkey; children Virginia, 16, born Liverpool; George, 15, born in America; Argentina, 10; Henrietta, 9; Clementina, 8; Marie, 7; Christina, 6; and Nicolas, 4, all born Manchester, and 8 servants. They lived next to the Peter Schilizzi family.

    Residence 1841, 43 Finsbury Circus, City of London, England. The 1841 England Census reports the household living at 43 Finsbury Circus, London: Ambroise Argenti, 35, merchant; [his wife] Henrietta, 20, both foreign born; [their daughter] Mary Argenti, 9 months, born in England; Pandia Argenti, 40, merchant [possibly Pandia Leonidas (Leonidas) Argenti]; Stephen Sechiari, 25, Ambroise Sechiari, 25; John Sechiari, 20; all four merchants; and Nicolas Scaramanga, 15, border, all five foreign born; and four servants.

    1861 England census: Sedgley Park, Prestwich, Manchester, household headed by Coco George Scaramanga, 36, Levant merchant, b. Trieste, Austria; wife Hypatia, 27, b. Smyrna; daughters Virginia, 6, b. Liverpool; Argentina, 1; Clementina, 1 mo, both b. Manchester; son George, 5, b. New York; & 9 servants.

    1851 England census: Bury New Road, Broughton, Lancashire, household headed by C. Scaramanga, 26, merchant cotton ??, b. Trieste, Austria; wife H., 18, b. Smyrna; brother P., 22, merchant in cotton, b. Trieste, Austria; & 4 servants.

    Coco G. Scaramanga, established 1855, is on Contopoulos' list of principal Greek commercial houses in New York City. 1856-57: his personal property in New York City was assessed at $15,000.

    Kokos Skaramangas gave an icon of John the Baptist to the Greek Church of Manchester, 1860-1863.
