    D.A. Galatti participated in a Liverpool town meeting to raise funds for the earthquake victims on the Island of Zante, Greece (Liverpool Mercury 14 Feb 1893).

    The Church of St. Charles Borromeo, Liverpool, sits on land that was formerly owned by Demetrius Augustus Galatti and Lucia Frangopulo, who had sold it to the Little Sisters of the Poor. The nuns had maintained St Augustine's Home from 1885 and then sold the land for the future church for £2223 (St Charles Borromeo Parish Centenary, 1892-1992).

    D. A. Galati attended the Sep 1897 Liverpool funeral of Ambrose Anthony Vlasto (Liverpool Mercury, 28 Sep 1897).

    Demetrius A. Gallatti, Highfield, Green Bank Drive, is on the 1899 Electoral List for Liverpool, England.

    Frangopulo, Agelasto, & Co. was among the two dozen Liverpool merchant enterprises which signed a letter stating how they would deal with, as importers of Egyptian cotton, regulations concerning bagging that put "unnecessary burden on the trade" (Manchester Guardian, 29 Jul 1870, p 2).

    Demetrius Augustine Galatti was in partnership with John Michael Agelasto in the firm, Frangopulo, Agelasto & Co., Merchants Liverpool and New York, as reported in the London Gazette, 20 Jun 1873.

    His brother Zannis is on the Negroponte-Agelasto tree.
