  1. 1.  Ioannis (Constantin) Sinadino was born in 1820 in Chios, Greece; died on 19 May 1890 in Milan, Lombardy, Italy.

    Notes:

    He and his wife (with another of their eight children) are also on the main Agelasto tree.

    Alexandria merchant; founded in 1860 a commercial house with Jules Pastre, Marseille shipbuilder; founded the Anglo-Egyptian Bank in 1864, leading in 1872 to the creation in London of the Bank of Alexandria, then in Alexandria, of the General Bank of Egypt. After his death the banks were directed by his son Constantine and nephew Themistocles.

    Ioannis married Polyxeni (Ambrouzis) Schilizzi on 15 Mar 1848 in Alexandria, Egypt. Polyxeni was born in 1832 in Smyrna/Izmir, Turkey; died on 12 Aug 1871 in Marienbad, Bohemia, Austria. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

    Married:
    Two brothers, Constantine and Ambroise, were Greek Alexandrian bankers. Three of the children of Ioannis (Constantin) Sinadino and Polyxeni (Ambrouzis) Schilizzi, are connected by marriage to the Agelasto or Negroponte-Agelasto bloodlines. Nicolas's wife was Despina Agelasto; Calliope's husband was Jacques Negroponte; and Cleanthe's husband was George Ralli.

    1. Calliope (Ioannis) Sinadino was born on 18 Jan 1851 in Alexandria, Egypt; died on 23 Oct 1927 in Paris, Īle-de-France, France.
    2. Cleanthe (Ioannis) Sinadino was born on 12 Aug 1857 in Alexandria, Egypt; died on 28 Dec 1919 in Alexandria, Egypt.
