Stavros (son of Jacobos (Theodore) Negroponte and Orietta [Negroponte]) was born about 1826; died on 06 May 1886 in 121 Bury New Road, Higher Broughton, Salford, Greater Manchester, England UK; was buried on 10 May 1886 in Ardwick Cemetery of the Orthodox Greeks, Manchester, England UK .     After his death Ruth remarried, on 16 Feb 1888, George J. Kent of Mehalla Kabeer, Egypt. The ceremony was performed at the British consulate in Cairo and then at All saints' Church by Rev. E.J. Davis (The Times [London] 18 Feb 1888).
