Marietta (daughter of Stephanos (Augustis) Agelasto and Henrietta (Constantine) Franghiadi) was born in 1810 in Chios, Greece; died on 13 Jun 1888 in Volos, Thessaly, Greece. LDS (familysearch.com) listed on 11 Mar 2001 a Marietta Agelasto birth abt 1820, Constantinople, marriage abt 1841, Constantinople.

Marietta J[ohn] Ziffo is buried in the Ziffo tomb, Sisli Greek Orthodox Cemetery, Istanbul, Turkey. If her death year (1825, at the age of 25) is correct, she could be John S. Ziffo´s grandmother, which again implies that his grandfather was also a John. That is a reasonable guess but doesn´t correspond with our TNG entry (George Agelastos).
