Theodore Pandia Ralli, a nephew of the senior partners of the house of Ralli Brothers, arrived New York aboard Germanic, 30 Apr 1880, with orders to dismiss the manager and senior staff of the New York office for violating the Ralli company rule against speculation. He remained in New York to work with P.Y. Fachiri in managing affairs at Ralli Bros, New York.

    Three sons of Pandia Theodore Ralli & Despina Ambrouzis Ralli -- Theodore and his brothers Ambrose and Antonio -- and a daughter Julia are on the Negroponte-Agelasto tree.

    He and his wife attended the 5 Feb 1893 wedding of E. Pilalas and Catherine Elesteropoulo at the Greek Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity, W 53d St., New York City, along with Michel Agelasto, P.P. Negreponte, and John C. Maximos.

    Theodore P. Ralli (along with Anthony P. Ralli, probably his brother) is included in M. Contonpoulos' list of the 8 most influencial merchants in New York's Greek colony from 1850s - 1890s. 1883-1910: Anthony P. & Theodore P. Ralli were members of the Consolidated Stock Exchange, New York.

    1885-1888: elected member of the Board of Managers of the New York Cotton Exchange. Served on its finance committee 1886-88 and 1891-97. Also a member of the New York Produce Exchange and the Consolidated Stock Exchange.

    23 Aug 1899: returned to London to assume the leadership of the worldwide family company, while Anthony P. Ralli and Paul S. Galatti remained to manage the New York branch of Ralli Bros.

    Ralli Brothers is listed as the first of the great benefactors on a marble plaque in the exonarthex of the Greek Archdiocesan Cathedral of the Holy trinity, 319 East 74th Street, New York.

    Listed in the Social Register of New York.

    Admitted to the New York Club in 1883.

    He is specifically referred to in a discussion of the merchant Rallis.

    The particulars of his estate are in "Mr. T. P. Ralli's Will," Evening Express [Liverpool], 13 Feb 1906. "He left an estate of the gross value of £120,918 8s. 6d., including personalty of the net value of £119,883 1s. 9d. He bequeathed tohis wife his residence and stabling and a legacy of £10,000 and a further legacy of £200. To his stepmother Mrs. Catherine Pandia Theodore Ralli he left an annuity of £156, and the residue of his estate in trust to pay the income therefrom to his wife during her widowhood...In the event of the failure of [trusts set up for his widow and his children, he] left the ultimte residue of his estate as to two-fifths to his brother Anthony Pandia Ralli, as to one-fifth to his sister Julia Alexander Pallis..."
