Scaramanga and Demetrius Manoussi from 1 March 1883, at 88 Bishopsgate Street, London, Marseille, Taganrog, and Rostoff-on-the-Don, as Merchants, under the style of Scaramanga, Manoussi and Co. Their previous partners included Peter P. Scaramanga, Andrew P. Scaramanga and John P. Scaramanga under Scaramanga and Co. He retired from the business 28 Feb 1891, by which time George Eumorfopoulos and Eustratius J. Scaramanga had joined the firm (London Gazette 23 Mar 1883, 3 Mar 1891; The Times (London) 2 Mar 1883).

    Aristides G. Eumorphopulos was listed as a member of the Baltic Exchange, 1886 (Harlaftis, A History of Greek-owned Shipping, p. 58).

    The 1851 England Census reports the household living at 3 Ducie Place, Manchester comprises three lodgers, all shipping merchants, born in Greece: Aristides Eumorfopoulos, 26, unmarried; D.E. Rodocanachi, 29, unmarried; and D.T. Calvocoressi, 38, widower. The last appears unknown to Argenti.

    A. G. Eumorfopulo chaired the organizing committee of Manchester's 1860 Greek Bachelors' Ball, attended by 260 guests (Manchester Guardian, 25 Feb 1860, p 4).

    Aristides Eumorphopoulos gave an icon of the Annunciation to the Greek Church of Manchester, 1858.

    A G Eumorphopoulos, 4 Kensington Park Gardens, London, was a general member, from 1867, Association for the Encouragement of Greek Studies, Paris, France.
