    He arrived Liverpool from New York on the Britannic May 1877 and on the Servia May 1882 (Liverpool Mercury 22 May 1877 / 27 May 1882).

    Nicholas Frangopulo was a co-defendant in Russell v Russell, a Liverpool divorce proceeding filed 7 Nov 1896. In the petition George Henry Russell alleged that his wife, Elizabeth Ann Russell committed adultery with both NF and a man named Holland. NF was supposed to have fathered EAR's son, born Nov 1892, who died 16 Aug 1893. NF was also alleged to have been EAR's lover between Feb 1894 and Apr 1896 (GHR was at sea from Jul 1893 - 21 Sep 1896). A daughter, born 1 Jan 1896, died Jul 1896. NF denied adultery in his response dated 1 Jan 1897.

    Frangopulo, Agelasto, & Co. was among the two dozen Liverpool merchant enterprises which signed a letter stating how they would deal with, as importers of Egyptian cotton, regulations concerning bagging that put "unnecessary burden on the trade" (Manchester Guardian, 29 Jul 1870, p 2).

    Funerals: N. Frangopulo attended the Sep 1897 Liverpool funeral of Ambrose Anthony Vlasto (Liverpool Mercury, 28 Sep 1897). He was a mourner at the Jan 1904 funeral of Stamati Galatti, his nephew. He attended the 1921 funeral of his sister Angeliki (Mrs. D. A. Galatti) with his brothers George and James.

    N. Frangopulo dressed up as a colonel of Greek volunteers at a fancy dress ball at the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall, given by H. Georgala & Co., Greek general merchants (Liverpool Mercury, 30 Dec 1871).

    The Liverpool Mercury, 29 Jan 1880, apparently starved for news, reports on Lucy Frangopulo's carriage accident.

    The Frangopulo contingent at the mayor's fancy dress ball, Liverpool, Jan 1883 included: Miss A. (pecheuse Napolitaine), Mrs. (Espagnole), John (Chef de Cuisine) and Miss (Satanella) (Liverpool Mercury 27 Jan 1883).

    Mrs. S.N. Frangopulo, Bankside, Higher Broughton was among members of the Manchester Shaksperian Society involved in a fundraising event (Manchester Times 22 Mar 1851); this was about the time of the birth of their first child.

    Either she or one of her daughters-in-law attended a ball given in the Manchester Assembly Rooms by Mrs. and Mrs. John Ambrose Negroponte to honor the coming out of their daughter Maria in 1900. She wore a "beautiful dress of pink accordinan-pleated chiffon, the [?] draped half-way with Brussels lace" ("Mrs. Negroponte's Ball," Manchester Times, 12 Jan 1900).

    At one social event Mrs. Frangopulo "was in black trimmed with sequined net" ("Mrs. Alfred Charlton's Garden Party" Manchester Times, 19 Jul 1895).

    At the Western Club Ball, "As usual Mrs. Negroponte and Mrs. Frangopulo were very strikingly gowned" (Manchester Times, 29 Apr 1898).

    Jean Parembli, Greek citizen, died 4 Apr 1927 at Leipzig, Germany, and left his estate to Lucy Stamaty Frangopoulo, Liverpool. He is referred to as Mr. Johannes Parembli and is perhaps Lucy's cousin, she being his closest living kin.

    Lucia Frangopoulos gave an icon of Archangel Michael to the Greek Church of Manchester, 1860-1863.
