    When she was about 19 she painted a floral design on the silk leaves of a mother of pearl ribbed hand fan, which she gave to her mother. The fan came down to Lucy Augustus Agelasto, who was distantly related to John Michael Agelasto, the husband of Marie's sister, Aglaïa (4 x cousin, 1 time removed), who all lived in London, Lucy passed it on to Carolyn Agelasto Hughes, her great niece.

    Mme Negroponte Baltazzi donated 500 francs toward church reconstruction, Bulletin de l'Oeuvre de secours aux églises dévastées, Aug 1916, p. 18.
